This event celebrates the folk tradition of Bengal which seeks the ultimate truth beyond the material world. Hason Raja is renowned for his popular songs and colorful life.
A number of his songs, including "Lokey Boley", "Dilarama", "Shonalia Didi", "Matir Pinjira", "Nesha lagilo", "Baula", "Shona bondhe", "Hasoner nao" and many more remain popular to this day.
Selim Chowdhury is a very popular singer known for his magical voice and extraordinary performances on stage. He has performed in America, Europe, and Dubai, but this is his first time in Sydney. Selim has performed many songs of Hason Raja, Radha Romon and Sylheti folk.
In addition, join the legendary singer Deepti Rajbongshi, famous for Lalon geeti, Bhojan, and Kirtan, as she performs alongside Selim Chowdhury.
